Het EYE Filmmuseum aan de noordoevers van het IJ is het centrum voor iedereen die van film houdt. In het futuristisch pand waarin EYE zich bevindt staat het kennismaken met en het verdiepen in film op verschillende niveaus centraal. Naast dat EYE als bioscoop fungeert kun je hier het hele jaar door genieten van tentoonstellingen, festivals, educatieve programma’s en nog veel meer. Bij alle activiteiten vormt de rijke collectie van EYE steeds het uitgangspunt. EYE beheert een verzameling van circa 40.000 films.

The EYE Filmmuseum openend its doors in 2012 after a collaboration of multiple movie-loving institutions. Since then, they've put on many interesting expositions by moviemakers from all around the world. It houses four cinemas, a 1200 m2 exposition room, various meeting rooms, an educational film lab, a restaurant and a shop. Its activities and programs are frequently based on the collection of 40.000 films in its archives.
