Bill Tishler

Bill Tishler werkt sinds 1999 als technisch directeur bij Cineplex Entertainment. In 2003 is hij benoemd tot vice president design and construction. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp, de bouw en renovatie van alle Cineplex Entertainment theaters in Canada. Eerder werkte Bill o.a. bij Famous Players, Galaxy Entertainment, Kofman Engineering en Verdiroc Developments. 

Bill heeft vanuit Cineplex diverse maatschappelijke projecten gelanceerd, zoals screening rooms voor patienten in revalidatiecentra en ziekenhuizen in en rondom Toronto. Daarnaast heeft hij zijn design-expertise ook ingezet voor de Bell TIFF Lightbox, een cultureel centrum/bioscoop die in 2010 speciaal is gebouwd voor het Toronto International Film Festival. Hij studeerde cum laude af aan de Universiteit van South Ontario.

* Bill Tishler joined Cineplex Entertainment in 1999 as Director, Design and Construction, and was promoted to Vice President, Design and Construction in 2003. Bill oversees the design, construction and renovation of all Cineplex Entertainment theatres across the country. Prior to joining Cineplex, Bill held numerous positions at Famous Players, Galaxy Entertainment, Kofman Engineering and Verdiroc Developments.

Bill has spearheaded numerous community initiatives on behalf of Cineplex, including a multipurpose community center/movie screening room in support of the San Romanoway revitalization association in Toronto, and a patient movie screening room at the Baycrest Centre. Bill volunteered his design expertise for the Bell TIFF Lightbox, revitalization of Regent Park and project managing to the new Leo Baeck south campus. Bill holds an honors degree from the University of Western Ontario.
