Marjan Hammersma

Marjan Hammersma is directeur-generaal Cultuur en Media van het ministerie van OCW. Zij is verantwoordelijk voor de directies Erfgoed & Kunsten, Media & Creatieve Industrie en Internationaal Beleid. Ook de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed en het Nationaal Archief vallen onder haar verantwoordelijkheid. Daarnaast is zij is lid van het Topteam Creatieve Industrie. Marjan Hammersma studeerde Sociologie aan de Universiteit van Utrecht en Communicatiewetenschap aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Sinds februari 2012 is zij directeur-generaal Cultuur en Media. Daarvoor was zij directeur Media, Letteren en Bibliotheken en werkte zij bij de Nederlandse publieke omroep als hoofd kijk- en luisteronderzoek en adviseur van de raad van bestuur.

* Marjan Hammersma is Director General Culture and Media of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science since 2012. She is responsible for the Departments of Cultural Heritage & Art, Media & Creative Industry, International Affairs and the National Archives. 

Marjan Hammersma is a member of the TopTeam Creative Industry. She studied Sociology at the University of Amsterdam and previously worked at the Dutch public broadcasting organisation as Head of SKO, the television and radio audience measurement service and Advisor to the Board.
