Rickard Gramfors

Rickard Gramfors is project manager van het Zweedse event cinema programma "Live in the Cinema" bij Folkets Hus och parker (FHP), een non profit organisatie die de programmatie doet voor 180 buurthuizen en cinemas. Door middel van het event cinema programma worden jaarlijks 55 live uitzendingen en events in HD kwaliteit en 5,1 surround sound uitgezonden naar deze cinemas. Op dit moment is Rickard bezig met uitbreiding van de diensten naar Noorwegen, Denemarken en Finland.

* Rickard Gramfors is project manager of the Swedish event cinema scheme ”Live på bio” (Live in the Cinema) at Folkets Hus och Parker (FHP), distributing 55 live broadcasts and recorded events every year, in HD quality and 5.1 surround sound, to 180 Swedish cinemas. Currently expanding their services into Norway, Denmark and Finland. Their content includes: opera, concerts, theatre, ballet, musicals and art. Co-operations with Metropolitan Opera, New York, the Bolshoi Ballet, Moscow, National Theatre, London, the Berlin Philharmonics, The Royal Opera, Stockholm, and many more. 

Folkets Hus och Parker is a Swedish non-profit organization, servicing 700 Folkets Hus and Folkparker (community halls and outdoor parks) all over Sweden. Among these a large number run cinemas, mainly in rural towns. FHP also does the film programming for the cinemas, works with touring theatre companies, concert tours, touring art exhibitions, and services regarding employee issues, real estate, financial matters and much more. FHP was the digital cinema pioneer in Europe, with seven cinemas in a pilot project starting in 2002 and did the first live broadcast in our cinemas in 2003 (David Bowie).
