Youry Bredewold

Youry Bredewold is Sr. Accountmanager EMEA voor Dolby Cinemas. Het bioscoopleven is hem met de paplepel ingegoten, als tiener vervulde hij alle mogelijke functies in de bioscoop van zijn moeder (De Kroon, Zwolle). Tijdens zijn studententijd deed hij ervaring op bij andere bioscopen, o.a. in Singapore en Colombo. Na de Hogere Hotelschool in Leeuwarden, Bedrijfskunde in Nijmegen en een Masters in Marketing afgerond te hebben in Tilburg, begon hij bij Joop van den Ende. Na 7 jaar keerde hij echter terug naar de branche waar zijn hart lag: de bioscopie. Bij Pathé was Youry verantwoordelijk voor marketing, communicatie, klantenservice, woordvoering en het lanceren van Pathé Thuis. Sinds mei vorig jaar is hij overgestapt naar Dolby.

As of early age, Youri has known the cinema from inside out; as a teenager he did all kinds of odd jobs in the cinema of his mother (De Kroon, Zwolle). During his college years, he gained more experience in cinemas, also in Singapore and Colombo. After completing his studies in Hotel Management (Leeuwarden), Nijmegen Business Administration and a Masters in Marketing (Tilburg), Youri started his career, working for Joop van den Ende . After seven years he returned to cinema where his heart is. At Pathé he was responsible for marketing, communications, customer service, press relations and launching Pathé Thuis (At Home).
